The weather in Greece will change on Sunday 13 September 2026, with a gradual transition to more autumnal conditions, according to the forecast from the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (ΕΜΥ). In the northeastern Aegean, from Thrace to Lesbos, winds are expected to blow from the northeast at 4 to 5 Beaufort. In the rest of the Aegean, winds will be from the northwest, with intensity reaching 5 to 6 Beaufort. In the Ionian Sea, winds are expected to blow from the west, up to 5 Beaufort, while in the Corinthian Gulf from the west, at 4 to 5 Beaufort.

The intensification of winds in the Aegean up to 6 Beaufort may affect ship schedules, though no sailing ban has been announced.
