e-EFKA and DYPA: €65m payments, 14–18 Sept

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security published on 12 September 2026 a detailed payment schedule from e-EFKA and DYPA for the period from 14 to 18 September 2026. According to the official announcement, the total amount to be paid during this week is €65,037,607.92 and concerns 64,261 recipients throughout the country. The payment programme includes both benefits via e-EFKA, the unified social security body, and allowances and employment programmes via DYPA, the Public Employment Service, as part of the regular weekly scheduling announced by the ministry, so that recipients know in advance when the amounts they are entitled to are expected to be credited.

From e-EFKA’s side, on 14 September 2026 the payment of €137,607.92 to 111 recipients is scheduled, an amount concerning former OAEE benefits, that is the former Occupational Insurance Organization for the Self-Employed, which has now been incorporated into e-EFKA. In parallel, for the entire period from 14 to 18 September 2026, e-EFKA will pay €17,500,000 to 950 recipients in lump-sum benefits. As the ministry’s announcement clarifies, these amounts are allocated to each recipient following the issuance of the relevant decision for his or her case, a process which is completed on an individual basis for each file separately, depending on the date of issuance of the relevant decision.

DYPA, for its part, will pay a total of €47,400,000 to four categories of recipients within the same period, from 14 to 18 September 2026. Specifically, €20,000,000 concerns unemployment benefits and other provisions to 34,000 recipients, €5,000,000 concerns subsidised maternity leave to 7,000 mothers, €21,000,000 concerns subsidised employment programmes to 20,000 recipients, while €1,400,000 concerns public utility work schemes to 2,200 recipients. These four categories, as detailed in the ministry’s announcement, cover different groups of labour market recipients, from the unemployed to mothers on leave and participants in employment and public utility work schemes.

The announcement constitutes the scheduled weekly payment schedule, as published by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, and concerns exclusively the period from 14 to 18 September 2026. The ministry has not announced additional details beyond the total amounts and the number of recipients per category, nor has it publicised application procedures, eligibility criteria or contact information for interested citizens, beyond the summary information contained in the published payment schedule. Recipients falling within the above categories can follow the progress of their payments through the respective services of e-EFKA and DYPA, as part of the regular weekly updates provided by the ministry on matters of economy and social security.
