SSA 2026: AADE reminder to 344,536 producers

The Independent Authority for Public Revenue sent a “friendly reminder” to 344,536 producers across the country who have not yet submitted the Single Support Application (SSA) for 2026, nor have they authorized a third party to complete the relevant procedure on their behalf. The reminder, as announced by the Authority, comes ahead of the deadline of 16 October 2026, the date after which the application submission process for the current year closes, an application on which the agricultural subsidies of eligible producers across the territory depend, from small landowners to the largest operations.

According to the figures released by AADE, as of Friday 18 September 2026, 255,300 producers had already granted authorization to competent bodies to proceed with submitting their applications, a figure showing that a large proportion of interested producers have already proceeded promptly with the necessary actions before the deadline expires. To identify producers falling behind, the Authority used 2025 SSA data and sent personalized information to those who had submitted an application last year but have not yet completed this year’s process, nor have they authorized a third party to do so on their behalf, so they do not fall out of the process this year.

As AADE states in a related announcement, the information sent to producers includes all available options for submitting the 2026 SSA, the critical dates of the process, as well as detailed guidelines and useful information on authorizing third parties on behalf of producers. The goal is for producers to have all the necessary information at their disposal, so they can meet the deadline promptly, without needing to seek out the relevant details from different sources or public services themselves, something that often delays the process for them and creates additional burden at the final stages before the deadline expires.

The 16 October deadline is final, which means that producers who have not completed the submission of the application or grant of authorization by then risk falling out of this year’s SSA process. The AADE clarifies, however, that producers who have already completed the submission of their application or who have granted the relevant authorization do not need to take any further action, as the process for them is already fully completed and no additional step is required on their part until the deadline expires on 16 October.
