Ritsona: armed robbery at a business

An armed robbery at the premises of a business in Ritsona, Evia, was recorded in the early hours of Thursday 20 August 2026, at around 02:40. According to a LamiaReport story of Friday 21 August 2026 at 09:00, which attributes the details to the local outlet Eviatop, unknown individuals tore off a protective iron window grille and entered the ground floor of the building. Two of them went up to the mezzanine, where they found a foreign employee of the factory asleep. They immobilised him at gunpoint and struck him lightly on the hands and face. The business is not named in the report, while the employee, as the victim of the incident, is not further identified. No person has been charged so far over the incident.

Over a period of about ten minutes, as described, the intruders broke open an unbolted safe that was in the business’s offices. They took items of unspecified value, a box with about 500 euros in cash and the employee’s mobile phone.
