Apokoronas: 53-year-old found dead at home

A 53-year-old man was found dead at his home in the Kavros area, in the municipality of Apokoronas, Chania, on the afternoon of Sunday 16 August 2026. According to Politica.gr and CretaOne, he was found by relatives, who immediately alerted the authorities after they were unable to reach him. Police officers and an ambulance rushed to the scene.
